A new team builder app is in the works that aims to simplify the process of building a team from scratch, with the aim of helping new players find their first team, and possibly even building one from scratch themselves.
The app, dubbed Pokémon Teambuilder, is currently in development by the Australian team at Australian Game Developers.
This isn’t the first time Pokémon has gone public.
The Pokémon Go-inspired game, which launched in the US last year, has been downloaded more than 5.5 million times in the first five months of its release.
However, the game’s launch was met with mixed reception from fans and players alike.
The game itself isn’t as big as some other Pokémon-based games, with a core focus on capturing and training Pokémon.
But that’s not to say it’s completely without flaws.
The initial release was marred by problems with the app’s design, with users complaining of a “fuzzy” interface, and users having to tap the screen repeatedly to access certain features.
This has since been corrected, but many players have expressed frustration with the lack of a quick way to add team members and move around within the app.
The Australian team has worked on Pokémon Team builder since before Pokémon Go was released in the country, and it’s been around since November.
The team says that they’ve spent more than two years on the project, which has come with a slew of challenges.
“We’ve built it in a very iterative, agile way, so it’s easy to make changes and iterate,” Pokémon Team leader Scott Smith told TechCrunch.
“The team really works really hard to try and deliver something that feels really good for users.
There’s not a single thing we’re doing wrong.”
One of the biggest challenges, according to Smith, has come from the fact that Pokémon is currently not available in Australia.
“Australia is the only one that hasn’t yet had Pokémon, so there hasn’t been a lot of innovation,” he said.
“In many ways it’s not the best place to be for a lot, but it’s the best for Pokémon, and that’s what we’ve tried to bring.”
A lot of the team’s time and energy has been spent building the app to make sure that it can handle any sort of development challenges.
Smith said that the team also made sure that the app could be easily ported to iOS and Android, and they were able to make adjustments to the app in the process.
Pokémon Team builders are currently in beta, and the team is also looking to expand the app further in the future.
For now, the team hopes to have the app released on Android, but says that there is “a good chance” that the game will be released on iOS in the near future.
If Pokémon TeamBuilder does end up getting into the hands of Australians, it’ll be interesting to see if it’s able to be used as a base for a new app in future.
In terms of the Pokémon universe, it’s hard to tell if Pokémon will ever be a mainstay in the game again.
Pokémon has been a huge part of the world’s lore since the early days of the franchise, and Pokémon has spawned dozens of spin-off video games over the years.
But even as the franchise has evolved over the decades, it has also been slowly eroded by the ever-growing popularity of other video games.
“Pokémon was not as popular as Pokémon Go,” Smith said.
He said that a large part of that is due to the fact Pokémon is a “video game” rather than a Pokémon game, and is therefore “too hard to get into.”
“So, Pokémon is not as good as it used to be, and people are more comfortable with that,” he explained.
“So Pokémon is really more of a niche game in the way that Pokémon was before Pokémon was popular.
That’s something we’ve been working on, to try to find a way to make Pokémon a little more fun, and make it more accessible.”
