Scream Queens creator Melissa Fumero and creator Sarah Schechter talk about the series ending and what’s next for the show.
Fumeros said the series was a big influence on her.
“It was like, you know, it was just like a dream,” Fumeria told MTV News.
“You know, I’m just sitting there, thinking, ‘Oh my God.
How did this happen?’
And then it’s like, ‘Well, I guess it just did.'”
Fumers sister, singer-songwriter Melissa Hays, said she also was drawn to Scream Queens.
“I was a fan of ‘Screech Queens’ and ‘Scary Movie,'” Hays said.
“And when it came time to do Scream Queens, I was like yes.
So I was just so excited to work with Sarah on Scream Queens and to bring this to life.”
Schechters sister-in-law, actress Rachelle Lefevre, who played Olivia, also said she was “blown away” by the show and the characters they created.
“You know the character is called Olivia and she’s this beautiful girl who has been kidnapped by a group of vampires,” Schechtering said.
“[She’s] like, this is my world, this isn’t what I’m used to.
This is my family, this doesn’t fit in with everything that I know and everything that you know.”
Schechters mom, actress Marisa Cagle, agreed.
“Scream Queen” was one of the best things that Sarah and I have ever done,” Cagle said.
Schechtering, who also stars in the animated “Scream Kings,” said that “Screeching Queens” would be a part of her legacy.”
This is what we’ve always been about, and I know it’s going to be a very important part of the legacy for a long time,” Scheckter said.”
The show, which ran for four seasons, centered around Olivia’s attempts to find a new family after her family was taken from her by vampires, but the series ended after the series’ fourth season. “
If we can do this, I’ll be able to continue on as a writer, to be able say that I was involved with ‘Screek Queens.'”

Schechting, who was married to former “Scary Mom” director Chris O’Dowd, is the first “Screek Queen” to marry a female director, joining the list of female directors to have done so.
Schechanters mother, actress Melissa Halsall, also talked about her daughter’s character, Olivia, in a new interview with MTV News, saying that while she had some sympathy for Olivia, she also appreciated her.”[She’s been] in some pretty scary situations and her father has been in some really scary situations,” Halsland said.
But she added that Olivia was a good person.
“She was very smart,” Hales said.
